Newest Treatment Coming Soon

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
New Brunswick, NJ

I’ve read that those of us on once daily ARVs might be a thing of the past in the very near future. Many studies are showing real promise that injectables are going to be the new gold standard treatment.we have cabanuva currently but from what I’m understanding soon there will be more injections options where one injection a month is all that’s needed. I’m on the fence on whether I like this option. Taking 1 pill a day is not a big deal but it’s a reminder every day that you have this disease… read more

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
Southafrica

Hello everyone
I was diagnosed with kidney stones but I have a feeling it's because of the pill. When I started taking pills after few months I started feeling sharp pain on the left side of my stomach . So whenever I could go to clinic they would give me painkillers. So whenever I felt pain I would take pain killer until after 3 year later I passed out blood in my urine and that when I was told I have kidney stones
Please how can I prevent them
Am drinking a lot of water, on medication… read more

I Am Thinking About Becoming An Influencer. I Was Hoping You Guys Might Be Able To Help Me. 🤠

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I'm going to need some assistance with branding and choosing advertisers. I'd like to think I am helping those willing to get in on the ground floor. I would even consider a discount on the first 30 or so memberships or subscriptions or whatever they are called. I would reward any ideas that bring in the $$$$ (is that enough of those?) with like a 10% partnership on profit. I think this could be lucrative. We could make myHIVteam into a sort of cash cow. 🤑🤩🥳

PS: Please know that I wrote… read more

What Happens Here When You Die?

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii

The camaraderie and relationship building created here on this platform has influenced me into asking this question.
There are some team members, from long ago, that never drop in to visit or check in, based on my observations.
If the person dies, how would the persons team know they had passed? What would you do when your time arrives? Should we partner up here and have one or the other person share the sad news? Thoughts? Suggestions? Answers?

Hiv Reinfection

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
New Brunswick, NJ

Is it possible if your on arvs and undetectable to get another hiv infection from another person . From what I’m understanding is that reinfection is rare. And usually only becomes a problem if you contract a different strain that is resistant to the arvs your taking. But my understanding is the resistance new virus would have to be resistant to all the ingredients of your arv to cause issues. Anyone have thoughts on this
