Mine did the same. I talked my doc into changing my meds. I went from bouncing around from 200 up to 800. My lastbviral count on this new med was 30. I went off Atripla to Genvoya.

As we all know guidelines are to start ARV medication as soon as possible which gives you a close to normal life span. With that being said there are many long term survivors who were on toxic meds. such as protease inhibitors in the late 90s that were really not good. And many of these people had hiv for 5 to 10 years before there was protease inhibitors and they were on AZT which we can all agree was a failure. Have you ever read the pamphlet on your medications?
Some medications you can just take them without food.
Other medications you have to take them with food.
for the medications that you have to take with food do you know what kind of food you have to eat to make that drug work at its maximum?
Did you know that some HIV medications work better when you eat fatty foods?
It's important to read those pamphlets that come with the medications then you know how to actually take your medications.

2) I see many people on this site refer to the U=U study and how HIV can not be passed along. They think they are still safe to have unprotected sex, because they are undetectable. The answer to that is NO, you are not safe to have unprotected sex. You can still get other STI's, but let's stick to just HIV
