Opportunistic Infections

My doctor said it’s a good chance I caught this early. My first test was negative that was 6 months ago then I turned positive when I went for a follow up test .before I started ARVs my cd count was over 400 viral load 216,000 however I developed eschougus candidiasis which I read is a AIDS diagnosis. My doctor said I don’t have AIDS with those lab numbers. Any thoughts? I was a heavy drinker and always had acid reflux don’t know if that had anything to do with it. Just got my latest blood test my viral load previous test was <20 my new test is 40 is that bad am I no longer undetectable? Cd 4 count jumped to 654
