Yes, there are others who can relate to being diagnosed with AIDS in the mid-90s. One individual shared their experience of being diagnosed with an HIV strain that was destroying their organs in 1994. They felt alone and against a wall, with rising AIDS cases leading them into depression and self-destructive behavior. However, with the support of a brilliant doctor and an effective combination medication through a clinical trial, they found a way to manage their condition and regain their spirit.

I’m glad you made a rebound.

It beat the heck out of me though. I’m living with a few complications as a result but I’m happy to say, I’m above ground.

Ah Sam Dont worry too much about remembering yesterday. I have short term memory loss, so for example if Im having a shower I dont remember if Ive lathered up or not. So I tend to then re lather my whole body and head to make absolutely sure.

Thats same dates as myself...Nearly dead in 1995. And 29 years on treatment now. Im also 65.
Thats amazingly skilled work to be able to fix wachine machines Sam. We have soft water here in Brighton, so Im not adding any descaling agents to my washing machine cycle. Im hoping the machine will last a while..It was already in the apartment I rented along with a Fridge, Bed and Chest of Drawers.
