Do Any Of You Think Quantum Computers Will Speed Up A Cure Or Make Even Better Antivirals?
Quantum computers are here and are not going to go away. They will be able to make calculations in minutes what would take super computers years.. with all that said I think a cure for lots of things are going to be found but what do I know.

@A myHIVteam Member. There was much confusion in the late 1980s, and early 1990s about how to manage HIV infection. There was a mix of drugs that included many that had little efficacy. Remember that we fought for access to drugs that were not yet rigorously tested. People were dying in large numbers without hope. The cry was that we had nothing to lose.
The few drugs that worked caused HIV to mutate around them in short order, AZT among them. It was really with the advent of protease inhibitors that we saw people pulled back from death's door, but also some of the cruelest changes in appearance. The mix of drugs and body distortions made people question whether survival was worth it.
Today, most of the problems with medications have been resolved. There are enough effective medications that don't cause problems that we don't have to rely on those that do.
PS: AZT is still in use today. It is not the monster people remember. It has a risk of anemia. I experienced anemia while on the drug, but continued with it.
@A myHIVteam Member. Mixing AI and quantum computing could have no upper limit. We may find that it becomes our greatest evolutionary development. It may rocket us into a future we could not even imagine. I saw a planetarium show that ended with the computer at the end of the Universe saying, "Let there be light..." 🤠
Unless and/or until EBT-101 is available to every HIV infected person, then the cure is cost prohibitive. Which means only the fortunate few would be “cured”. I have my doubts therefore on the universality of this “cure”. We shall see.
@A myHIVteam Member this is one huge reason I think there will be a total cure , for us Brad, someday in our lives.
