My husband and I have been together for 39 years, we both have health issues and with him being 10 years older than me, we are at different places right now. I am thinking of finding an online friend to have online or phone fun with. He says we both have physical needs and together is great, but if health issues outside is great just as we are safe careful, and let each other know. I do know think I could do that and he does not want to, but online makes me feel safe and safer for us as a… read more

Good morning my friend and thank you for your question. That is something that a lot of couples actually discuss and consider. It is still considered taboo outside of the norm but as gay men we understand it. I too had this discussion with my partner some years ago and needed a professional couple counseling opinion. What she said is,.. if we had met on the grounds of an open relationship or even in an orgy type situation ...it would be a smooth ride along. But since we have been monogamous and committed, opening the gates now may unleash other situations that may be kept best at Bay. We considered this and took her advice. We are monogamous.

I would just pay for a service. Anything more than that is attention you should be giving your husband and he would notice.

My boyfriend has terminal liver failure and no testosterone, we have no sex life :( However he is worth lacking that. I'd rather be in a sexless relationship with someone I love who treats me right than have amazing sex with an asshole. My husband was negative when I tested positive and his fear of me and IT fucked up any sex life we were going to have. My boyfriend would love to sleep with me, but he can't :( I would not seek sex outside of our relationship. I'd get more toys for myself if it was an issue.

I believe sex outside a relationship can be a positive treat, as long as it is safe and doesn’t involve deception. A well reviewed sex worker is a good option. There’s no real chance of it turning into something more. It’s just business.
