I have mentioned this several times about this study being done in Europe, yet not ever mentioned in the United States. 2 years later (no surprise) it is FINALLY mentioned in the United States. I am doing this study on my own.

I am not to sure of this myself, and for me, I will stay on the 1 pill daily every single day because I do care about keeping myself with a good CD4 count and I want to stay undetectable. I do not wish to mess that up. I think those who do wish to try a 4 day on and 3 days off each week should only do so with your ID doctors permission, and of course they would need to run blood work a lot more often so if your CD4 drops big time or you no longer being undetectable then they would get you back on the daily medication. We have to remember that this is something that will work for some people but no work for others and by doing a 4 days on to 3 days off could cause you to become resistant to what ever medication your on so fast and this is why you would want your blood work done more often so if this starts to happen to get you back to daily medication quickly to stop that from happening. Good luck for those who do try to see if it works for you or not.

@A myHIVteam Member I too would rather stay with what is working for me and not take a chance on making this current treatment to stop working for me. With all the other medical problems I have and all the medications I am currently taking, why take a chance to mess everything up. Better to just keep with what we are already use too.

Sounds good , be very careful Xavier I spoke to my doctor about this and we decided to keep me on the regiment I'm on because it's working.

Pissed but I told her I was doing it anyway. So I go in for blood work every 3 months and back then I sent her the study they were doing at that time. This study is now past 96 weeks with a 97% success rate in the European Union.
