Thank you for helping me read something informational and inspirational.
Great article & thanks for sharing. I'm a fairly recent 'diagnosee'...only since 2018, but I completely second everything the lady said.
@A myHIVteam Member I am so sorry for your loss. I can feel how you are feeling for when I lost both of my parents and then my wife all very close to each other and it hit me hard, but me in a very deep depression. Took awhile for me to remember that I am carrying a part of them in my heart and those parts are what get me through each day. Remember this and that they are looking down on you and watching over you until you are all together again.
Thanks Jeff for sharing this article with everyone. I totally believe every single part of it and I think most of us have followed some of these things too after our diagnosis. I know if it had not been for my brothers and sisters calling and keeping eyes on me almost everyday I would not be here today. Even from my really bad childhood I tried suicide 4 times and failed every time, and it was from remembering those days that I knew that was not the way to go, so when I was diagnosised with AIDS, I only got through because of the support I got from my brothers and sisters.

Mahalo Jeff for sharing this article. Now I know why I have survived for so long with this condition since 1985 is because I followed all of the things she shared just from my own common sense and determination, spot on!
Stare fear down. Take care of my self. Seek help talking to somebody. Prioritize what was important, especially with my young family, go to the doctors appointments everytime, take my meds, remain positive despite everything, Live, Love, and Laugh, defend the defenseless regarding HIV and the mistreatment from others, and most importantly, have something/someone to believe in and look up to. My personal Lord and Savior who is Jesus Christ.
Amen brother and Aloha! Johnathan
.. many hugs to you.. may her smile bring you comfort🌈❤️🙏
