Have Your Meds Caused You Pancreatitis?

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
Manchester, UK

New user here, first post. 12 years with HIV, 40y0 male, diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis after 5 acute episodes. Does anyone have any advice on the link between this and HIV meds? Have only been on Truvada and Nevirapine and just can’t see this as caused by eg alcohol as never been a heavy drinker. No gallstones either. Any advice for someone navigating the (UK) system where doctors consistently say no link exists between the newer HIV meds like mine and pancreatitis? Thanks!
