How Are You Feeling Emotionally, Happy, Depressed, Overwhelmed?

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
Seattle, WA

I feel overwhelmed and depressed. Kind of on overload with everything happening in the world right now. I'm seeing a Psychologist who is really helpful and caring who is really the one keeping me in check. I try to live day to day, and I'm sure there will be brighter days ahead. Just wondering how everyone else might be feeling?

What Are Your Feelings With U=U.... And The Issue With Wearing Or Not Wearing A Mask After Receiving The COVID-19 Vaccine?

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
Geneva, IL

Back in 1990,..I remember within our own LGBTQ community, we were being ostracized because a lot of us died of AIDS and were infected with HIV and the population feared us. (it has been proven medically through science).... but today… read more

How To Donate Body For HIV Research?

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
Atlanta, GA

I have lived more than half my life (36 years) with HIV. There've been no med issues, opportunistic infections, or physical handicaps attributable to the virus. I am just Byll, no spells, or special treatments, or travels to foreign lands etc
Yet, this body has kept me these many years, despite the deaths of partners, family and friends. I must also give honor to the untold countless folk who have passed on
I've concluded that there might be something in my genes/cells that might contribute to… read more

New Covid Vaccine Safety For Those With HIV:

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
Seattle, WA

According to the latest report on CNN, the new Pfizer vaccine is still being looked at as safe or effective for those with autoimmune issues like HIV. Apparently they are currently studying the effect of the vaccine on patients with HIV.

I have not talked with my HIV doctor about it as I just heard. Does anyone else have any information about this!

Thanks, and happy holidays!

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭
New York, NY

Ever since I was young I’ve always struggled with being compliant with medication — especially pills! This has transcended into my adulthood, and I’ll be honest, I still struggle with the routine of taking meds daily.

The IOS app I’ve been using is called “Round” and I enjoy the simple UI… read more
