I ask this question because I have had my trust violated by many people. I have a handful of friends who I completely trust. My only family is my sister and can't trust her or her family at all. She has taken advantage of my having HIV and being gay ever since I came out, and was diagnosed. Also I got really burned in my last long term relationship which really made me cautious in trusting people.

Fully trusting someone and them trusting you is a true gift I think!

This site is not set up with threads especially for newly diagnosed, long termers, stigma, med issues, dating when having HIV, and so many other topics. However it is a safe and friendly place for all of us to gather with our all having the same common denominator, HIV/AIDS. There have been clinical trials on affects of emotions on HIV. Many doctors claim that our emotional state of mind and stress levels, weigh heavily on our CD4 counts. Laughter has been documented to lower your blood pressure and heart rate by several points. ❤
Having said that, do you appreciate a good joke, are you one to crack a joke at a party or laugh at a joke. Or do you scowl at jokes?

There is an app that people have used worldwide called Houseparty, which has games and media interactions , the same used in the ZOOM application but encompassing more tools . With the holidays upon us , I thought this would be an opportunity to engage outside the platform☺
