College Or University
Have you thought about going back to school to further your education? If so what would you like to do as a career?
Yes,but just to get my MBA...bucket list item 👍🌈🙏♥️
At this point in time, I'd go for a trade. Less time, less money, continue living my life without those loans or payments Eck. Quicker to the workforce.
I went to San Diego City College and studied commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. (I think I paid $165 plus book)
Work was great in the summer. Refrigerator and air conditioners working overtime and breaking down. In the winter no air conditioner to fix and refrigerator working almost normal.
So I took classes with Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire and Maytag. I learned to fix the full line of appliances. I had work year round.
Almost every house in the world has at least 1 refrigerator and 1 range in them.
In November and December most everyone knows they’ll be using their oven to do some serious baking. Unbelievable how many people wait to get their ovens fixed until November and December.
I remember going on service calls on thanksgiving day because the oven wouldn’t turn on to bake the Turkey.
At this stage in life while learning things is always interesting, going for a degree seems pointless.
Great question I’m going back to school in January. I’m going for pharmacy technician. Maybe I will get a better deal on biktarvy lol
