It can become HIV 2 and then it can become resistant.

1) nothing can happen.
2) all kinds of shit can happen.
If the other person is resistant to your drugs, you can be reinfected and a new strain can developed.
@A myHIVteam Member, not necessarily HIV2, HIV2 is mainly located in the continent of Africa, and pretty much is more prominent in the African American communities. It's not that other people can become HIV2 as well, but the chances are much lower.
Also, HIV2 is less fatal and slower progression.
