It will happen when you aren’t looking for it. I know it sounds counterintuitive but that’s how it happened for me 6 years ago. I was 63 and accepted I’d be single the rest of my life (I’d been single since I was 48). I moved back to the town I graduated high school from but everybody I knew there was straight. I went on a gay dating site to find one gay friend to hang out with. He was 40 so I thought for sure I was not getting into anything with him. Within a year he told me he was tired of meeting rude people online and he wanted to be with me only! By that time I really enjoyed his company. Now we’re in the market for a home and probably will marry after we move in. So, like I said, quit looking for love, love yourself, do the things you love and the rest will follow!
