What Medicine Can Someone Take To Not Get HIV?
If someone is in a relationship with someone that has HIV is there medication that they can take to prevent getting HIV? Just curious, I'm not in a relationship, don't feel like anyone will won't to have a relationship with me because of the HIV.

PREP is generally the drug that is taken for circumstances of this nature
There are a number of different drug options available to prevent the onset of HIV..These medicines are known as Prep
Truvada® (emtricitabine/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate) is for all people at risk for HIV through sex or injection drug use. Generic versions are also available.
Descovy® (emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide) is for sexually active men and transgender women at risk of getting HIV. Descovy® is not for people assigned female at birth who are at risk for HIV through receptive vaginal sex.
A long-acting injectable form of PrEP has also been approved by the FDA:
Apretude® (cabotegravir) is for people at risk for HIV through sex who weigh at least 77 pounds (35 kg). It’s an injection given by your health care provider every other month instead of daily oral pills.
Can Someone With Kidney Problems Tell Me What Medication They Take To Treat HIV That Affects The Kidneys To The Least Extent?
A Nurse Told Me That If I Have Unprotected Sex With Another Person Who Has HIV It Could Harm Me Because They Might Be Different Types.
