I heard it could be very aggressive and competitive. I'm looking for a sport that I can enjoy without too much drama.

pickleball is a brutal sport. I know several people who have been injured playing it.

We don't have to jump in with aggressive play... Many do but truly not essential. Find others who aren't determined to "win" and it can be a fun game.

Actually, pickleball has been around for quite a long time, but it has gained in popularity in recent years.

There are pickleball courts right across the street from me, and I have asked a friend of mine if she would be interested in trying it out. My only concern is would I be able to play with my fibromyalgia since it is often accompanied by chronic fatigue. But I figure I won't know until I try. Would love to give it a shot!

Update: after reading the previous responses, not so sure it would be a good idea for me to try. LOL
