No, you do not need to tell them. All medical personnel should be trained to treat everyone as being HIV. About the only time that you would truly need to disclose is if they were giving you medication, then you wouldn't want drug interactions interfering.

I do as a matter of safety. I at least disclose the meds. So that they don't prescribe me something that doesn't mix well with it.
