Could You Share Any Dietary Changes And Tips That Have Helped With HIV?
Someone mentioned monitoring one’s liver function. That was challenge for a bit until I added Milk Thistle as a supplement then my liver function became normal
I find that the healthier I eat the better I feel. I also work out 6-7 days a week. I just turned 64 but I feel like I'm about 40. Sometimes I honestly forget that I'm positive. I truly believe that what you put into your body matters so I limit my alcohol and dairy and eat more veggies and fish. This is my personal experience.
Red bell pepper is awesome for t cells, wild Salmon, Turmeric powder, wild raw honey and apple cider vinegar. All great for helping you.
Low carb, minimal or no processed foods, and lots and lots of pure water.
I don't eat out. I don't eat fast food, I don't eat processed foods except the occassional bowl of cereal. I don't drink alcohol. I don't do this for HIV reasons. I do it mainly for financial reasons. It's cheaper to make my own food. If you have a healthy diet, it doesn't matter if you are positive or not. A healthy diet is a healthy diet. if you have co-morbidities (Diabetes, Heart condition, etc.) that is a different story.
