I didn't worry about it. My cats are house cats and only eat fussie cat and tuna. I cleaned my litter boxes. I worried more about cat scratches than anything else when my cd4 was low. Those seemed to get infected real fast.

If you remain undetectable and your cd4 count remains high for life, then you wont be affected by Toxoplasmosis.
However if your cd4 ever fell below 200 or 100 there is a danger of going blind...This usually happens with cd4's approaching 50.
Its worth getting your blood checked to see if youve ever had Toxoplasmosis. Personally Im negative for it and stay well away from Cats. Dogs do not carry Toxo, but outdoor Cats often catch it from eating Mice. Another way Humans can get Toxo is by eating undercooked red meat. If youve ever had Toxo, you remain positive for life, thus the danger lies if it gets re activated from a low cd4 count.
