Now That They Finally Have Ads On TV About HIV Medications, Do You Think The Drug Companies Could Do More To Advertise?

For instance, instead of just any average Joe and Jane on the ads, what about having people like Magic Johnson or Charlie Sheen on HIV commercials.
Get celebrities and athletes to promote U=U. Do you think this would make a difference in people who are afraid of us because of our status? Do you think athletes and celebrities could change people's minds on HIV?

It might help.... but to be with someone with HIV or any other STI is an induvial decision. Some might require a condom. Some might go raw and might decline. How people mitigate their sexual risk is personal. They are the ones who are solely responsible for it.

I think there should be PrEP in the bar bathrooms, next to the condom machines. Buy a packet. If you get lucky, take it! If not,

Here in Chicago, there's posters I've seen/noticed on the sides of CTA buses, "Prep for Her", with the streaming services with low numbers of commercials and ability to fast forward through them, I think a similar campaign might be more effective, with the faces of celebrities as attention grabbers too!

I saw an ad for the Community clinic to go to in Clearwater. They promoted HIV, AIDS, STD and pregnancy care for both insured and uninsured. They are so kind and knowledgeable. I was surprised to see it. On our ABC network.

Also, they could advertise more about U=U.
Sure the commercials say "taking this medication can keep you undetectable....."
It should say something like, "this medication can keep you undetectable. By being undetectable, you can not pass on HIV, which means undetectable equals u transmittable." Or something to that effect.
