My story: The lbgtqiaxyz senior program I recently joined has a subsection group for poz 50+. It really is a joy to be at a center that has such special programming. I've been to a play and party event. Met some wonderful people as well. Looking forward to an enjoyable future.

I’m still here thirty something years after I was told my time was limited. Additionally, perhaps my husband and I would not be together otherwise. When we met in ‘99, my husband, who is negative, had recently lost his younger brother to AIDS. He was still raw from his loss. It’s possible that my status made a connection with his feelings, that would not have happened otherwise. He’s the best thing to ever happen to me. If I had to pick being positive with him, or negative without him, I’ll be happily positive. That’s my happy HIV story. 😊❤️

I'm not sure what you meant but imma give it a try for you. THIS IS ONLY FROM MY OPINION ONLY: Having HIV is alot easier than other diseases, ie herpes, high blood pressure, insulin diabetics. For the most part, there's nothing physically wrong with me. It's more mental for me because it still don't stop men from wanting to sleep with me and even more ignorant. They think we will without protection. Thats the thinking of some men. Life has been really weird since my diagnoses but, its a blessed life overall
