Now that the pharmaceutical companies have found a way to keep us alive for 30+ years with a one a day pill, what’s the incentive for them to come up with another pill. Wouldn’t it makes sense for all scientists, pharmaceutical companies etc to now spend all their effort to find a cure. They may not make their usual billions but they will still make a decent profit. I think doctors want to find a cure, don’t forget that, pharmas want to find new medications. I’m hoping my new bloods I’m having soon will be fine enough for me to start on the bi-monthly injection, that’ll be good enough for me.

Paulm63 I agree 100% with you I’m thankful that there is something to keep us alive but I don’t believe in complacency. We now have proven pills to keep us alive for a long time now it’s time for the next step in research to end the epidemic once and for all. I’m sure some are looking hard at this next step. We can’t stop half way we need to go all the way

Without those meds, we would all be toast @A myHIVteam Member. Your glass is half empty, buddy. You have created a conspiracy theory that has no merit in order to make yourself unhappy. In reality, you are extremely fortunate. Open your eyes to a new day. 🤔😌🤓🥸🎉🎊🎈🍾🥳❤️

@A myHIVteam Member. The CRISPR article I posted shows one avenue for a cure. It uses viruses to enter CD4 cells, and remove the genetic instructions for HIV virus production. It uses an existing defensive mechanism viruses use to combat the viruses that prey on viruses (called bacteriophages). It's mind boggling if they can pull it off!
