HIV home test are reliable if you are doing it the right way. However, I would definitely go to any city clinic that provide HIV testing. In addition to be 100% accurate, if you tested positive, they would direct you with the resources to get treatment and stay healthy. They are trained to answer ll the questions you might have.

I have like 40 boxes of covid tests, but the writing is so small I can't read the directions. Note to self, do not use this anally.

Did an amount of time pass between tests? I'm an HIV Peer in a hospital and we have 2 rapid tests. One works best if your exposure was over 6 weeks ago the other will work better if it was a recent encounter you're testing for. Some tests are looking for antibodies and some are searching for the virus. Are they the same exact tests? The only way to be sure is to get tested in a Dr's office or health dept, that way if you are positive they can get you on meds. If you are negative look into PrEP.
