The answer is yes, depending on when you got tested, and what your results were at the initial testing. Actually, there are a variety of ways that could happen. If one kept having different sexual partners and did not practice safer sex each time and each person had a different strain, you'd then create a new strain that would be resistant to the drugs or all of the drugs out there. If there were no drugs for the new strain, it would be very likely to go from hiv to aids in a short period of time.

Yes it depends on your immune system one day I was diagnosed hiv positive then they come back and tell me i had full blown aids cuz my immune system was so week it was down to 26
