Does it seem the straight positive community has to go through more red tape? If all of this is true, how can we overcome these issues? How can we stand as 1 community and not be divided… read more

Have You Had People Ask You If You Are Really HIV Because You Look So Healthy?
I have lived with HIV for 31 years, almost half my life. As a long term survivor one has seen the worse of the disease from the very beginning. I looked like I was sick which I was in the 90's and people accepted it because AIDS was so prevalent. I was lucky to get on a trial for Crixivan in 1996 which saved my life. From then on I became stronger as more medications came out and more known about the illness I have adhered to my med schedule, monitored regularly by doctors and specialists… read more

Any One Suffering Chronic Kidney Disease Due To Virus, Medications?
I have Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease. It came to light in 2008 when I had a battle with kidney stones and had surgery. Right now I'm stable with the meds and diet, but get very anxious every appointment with my kidney doctor afraid I have crossed over into Stage 4 and dialysis. Wondering if anyone has kidney issues from HIV or medications. Just want you to know you have support if you do.
I have been going to the Veterans Administration Hospital here in St Louis since 1999. I didn't find out I had a stage 3 kidney disease until about I guess 3 years ago. During an emergency room… read more

Who's On Genvoya & Is It Making You Gain Weight?
I've been on Genvoya a little over a year, and it seems that I've gained weight. I've tried to diet, workout change eating habits. But I'm wondering is it the Genvoya. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I am using Genvoya since 2 years and I put on weight. I run 20km per week, go swiming 2x per week and I bike. I am taking care of what I am eating...I will contact my Dr next week to change treatment.
