It's starting to look a lot like Christmas

Tbh , I lost my Christmas spirit a very very very long time ago . Long before my diagnosis, and long before anything else that’s happened to me these past three years since my diagnosis . Although I will freely admit that these three years have been harder than those prior . The only joy I get from this time of the year is participating in my union’s Toys For Tots toy drive for the past 15 years . They ask of our union brothers and sisters to bring a $10 toy to our x-mas party . I’ve always went overboard by bringing a $100 worth of toys . And when I was married, I would bring an extra $100 of toys that my ex wife bought . I would have to say the reason for going overboard would be that we never had children . And we just get a kick out of picking out toys to donate. It brought a smile to both our faces . I still continue to do this , in spite of us divorcing and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. It brought a rare smile to my face when I went shopping last Thursday . But once that party is over , my Xmas spirit ends . Just like it has for the past 15 years . But my apologies for deviating here , you asked about a favorite song . My favorite tune is more of a anti Xmas song done by a punk band from Cali in the early 80’s called FEAR . The song title probably Won’t make it past the censors here , nor will I post it here anyway . You can most likely find it on YouTube if you’re that interested..

The songs are good. I love The Christmas song by Nat King Cole. Chestnuts roasting on and open fire....
But I love the shows. Charlie Brown Christmas is my fav. And Auntie Mame. And for the music... Mame 😀
