I’m wondering if protein powder or just bottled water is good for working out?

It’s important to drink lots of water - you can consult Dr about what’s best amount according your weight - Protein drinks cannot and should not replace water

Not sure what it equates to in metric, (I could look it up but too lazy at the moment), but the new recommendation (for like the past 10 years now) is to drink half your weight in ounces of water. So say you weigh 100 pounds, you should be drinking 50 ounces of water a day. If you weigh 350 pounds, you should be drinking 175 ounces of water a day.
More if your working out.
It used to be 8 eight ounce glasses a day, but that was too much for anorexic people and not nearly enough for obese people. So it's now recommended half your body weight in ounces of water.
