@A myHIVteam Member. Just forgive yourself, learn the lesson, remember the lesson learned and move on. That's all you can do.

I ended up homeless once because of some errors in judgement, lived in an old dorm converted to house homeless veterans for a time. 20 years later and my credit is fixed and above 700 for the first time in years and I'm shopping for a house now with my boyfriend of 6 years. If I can do it, so can you. Have faith in yourself, forgive yourself and just keep going. The best revenge is to succeed in spite of yourself!!

Forgive yourself... We have all been through that guilt. It's hard enough living this life with HIV. We don't need to beat ourselves up for it. Give it time you will learn to forgive yourself πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™„πŸ™‚

I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through such a tough time. Here are some steps you can take to manage your situation:

- Seek Professional Help: Engaging with mental health professionals who specialize in working with individuals with chronic health conditions, including HIV, can be immensely beneficial. They can provide guidance, support, and coping strategies tailored to your circumstances.

- Join Support Groups: Online support groups like myHIVteam can connect you with others who share similar experiences. This can help you feel less alone and provide emotional support.

- Financial Assistance: If you have financial concerns, consider finding a social worker to help you access resources and get back on your feet. They can assist with disability benefits and managing medical bills.

- Self-Kindness: Practicing self-kindness can help ease the pain. Guided meditations, like the one by Dr. Christiane Wolf, can offer support during challenging times.

- Crisis Resources: If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, there are crisis resources available, such as domestic abuse hotlines and support services.

Remember, you are not alone, and there are resources and people who can help you through this difficult time.
