- Confidentiality: If you do disclose your status, your employer is required by law to keep it confidential.
- Conditions for Disclosure: You may need to disclose your status if you need to:
- Take an extended leave of absence
- Use Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave
- Change your schedule because of your condition

Employers are entitled to only the information that current legislation permits, as privacy is a legally protected right. Never fear, protections are in place to protect your privacy relative to medical information.

None. Unless you need some sort of reasonable accommodation. Hipaa doesn't apply to everyone.
