My Viral Load Went Up To 200 And It’s Now 145 Since I Stopped Taking Supplement Vitamins Called Berberine Do You Think That Was The Problem?
Hi Tony177. First, I live in Midtown Atlanta. Greetings! Secondly, regarding your question about meds and supplements, I had a similar issue with t-cells and viral load. I used to take meds and supplements all at once. My infectious disease doc said that's a "no no". Take meds and supplements separately...which I now do. My bloodwork and HIV results are more normal for several years now. Take care.
Sir please read I just posted your answer
I know you said viral load, but I am assuming you meant CD4 count? Do not take HIV meds and vitamins at the same time. it's generally best to take vitamins at least 2 hours after taking your HIV medication, as some vitamins and minerals can interfere with the absorption of HIV medications, particularly those containing dolutegravir; always consult your doctor or pharmacist to determine the best timing for your specific situation.
@A myHIVteam Member Keep separated your dosing times for HIV meds and your supplements. It'll absorb better and not interfere with the HIV meds effectiveness.
It also could be due to stress you may have been dealing with
