Hi Jorge. When I found out my status I was overwhelmed because I didn't know where to go or what to do, but I went to Google and started looking for HIV treatment and found the Ryan White website and in the care section I got a list of medical centers near where I lived. https://ryanwhite.hrsa.gov/ . Another page that helps me was this one https://www.hiv.gov/hiv-basics/starting-hiv-car... that helped me find a place to get tested. I called one of the places that came up on the page and made an appointment. They gave me care and tests and even medication. And the way I received care made me feel good even though I felt like less of a person.
