Do You Remember Where You Were On 9/11 As The Planes Crashed Into The Towers ?
I’ll never forget witnessing the second plane crashing into the Twin Tower while at work! I was in shock!
Good God Yes. Heard a news flash on the car's radio. I was sitting at a red light. The church I was baptized in was to my right. Said a prayer, until the light changed. Made my turn and passed by three more traffic signals, just blocks apart. Arrived at work for a meeting with the day supervisor. Within the few minutes it took to make the trip, The true horror began to be revealed. By the end of the meeting the corporate office called and gave instructions to cancel the night shift. Had to stay and call and tell everyone on the evening shift. Then got delegated to stay and inform those that could not be reached due to their cell phones not able to receive calls. I was thankful for the work as it was the last day's pay for that week.
I was in my Queens, NYC apartment and the year before I left a job that I was working at one of the towers .
On this particular morning I turned the news only to see the horrific sight. I called my dad and we both watched in silence.
My husband was in NYC the day it happened. He saw the second plane go into the tower. He is over the emergency room at St Vincent’s. He worked at the ER for 48 hrs straight. He has a hard time watching the videos on YouTube to this day.
Do you think Bin Laden chose 9/11 to attack the US or was it a coincidence?
911 rings the emergency telephone number for the US.
it was my sophomore year in high school and I was working in the fields for the summer. My mom had made us lunch and we were getting ready to head out the door when she was looking at the television and said man this is a crazy movie and then we heard the news broadcasters start talking, that was one crazy day I’ll never forget
