Hi Everyone, Has Anyone Experienced Any Issues With Using The Gilead Advancing Access CoPay Assistance Program? CVS Illegal Discrimnation?

I have been using the card and the program since I was diagnosed in 2018, and I have never had any problems with the program covering my Co-Pays or my Out-of-Pocket costs for my Biktarvy RX. The Pharmacy has always entered the Gilead Program information in their system as a secondary benefit with no issues. Yesterday, I used a CVS Pharmacy location as I needed my medication sooner than when my normal Pharmacy would have it back in stock. The CVS Pharmacy Tech told me that my Co-Pay benefit… read more

I believe that during enrollment, you were enrolled in one CVS pharmacy that is designated to handle your profile. Once medication is ready for pickup at CVS, use the shipping option and ship it to your home. Sometimes it's the state requirement, not the individual pharmacy; there’s no reason for the pharmacy to discriminate or refuse medication because it is illegal and can cause resistance in the treatment. Talk to your case manager or doctor.
