Have You Made Your Living Will?
Whether you're sick or not, a living will or trust is important in covering the cost for funeral and/or cremation.
Have you decided on one?
Nope all I have are bills
I'm an estate planning attorney - I have this conversation several times per day. A Living Will is an advance directive to healthcare professionals that goes into effect in the event that you are terminally ill, and permanently unconscious. It tells the medical team what your wishes are. We call it your love letter to your family. You are making the decision to waive liability against the healthcare providers for withholding treatment and providing only comfort care while allowing natural death. It is not a DNR.
Thank you all for your answers and continue answering if you'd like. There's several life insurance plans that you can buy on a monthly premium basis that will cover solely your funeral expenses. I for example have Omaha of Nebraska which gives me a death benefit of 25,000 which is just enough to cover all funeral and church expenses..

This was finally completed the 3rd week in June while hospitalized. I never want to burden my children and family during my departure providing them with financial security and prearranged final arrangements that is paid for right down to the smallest details to include my daughter having access to this platform letting my team know that I'm just a memory.
