Have Any Of You Lost The Sensation Of A Coffee / Caffeine High?!
No matter how much coffee I drink I can’t seem to get that same coffee buzz I would get before my hiv diagnosis. I could drink 5 espressos and get the same coffee buzz as just one these days . Can Biktarvi do that or maybe it’s my antidepressant?
I only drink a cup in the morning maybe one in the afternoon.
I just drink because I like the taste and because it warms me up. A friend of mine used to call it, “go, go juice.”
I know if I drink 3 espresso in a row I get an almost anxious feeling, so I limit espressos to 2.
Never had the buzz associated so have it up rarely i drink caffeinated coffee or any at all
@A myHIVteam Member thats pretty screwed up Xavier. I quit that stuff and lost 15 pounds that year. Had a coke out of the blue and thought it was the most sugary disgusting poison to swig down. And just like you coke and pepsi just doesnt taste the same . mountain dew tastes like pure poison to me these days too. This has me thinking maybe its my diet? Also oddly enough another big difference to my body is that I am eating fruits like a mad man these days too. Never have I craved fruit like this either. And my body is thanking me for it too
4 years ago when I was in the hospital, I didn't know what they were giving me. Anyway, when I was discharged to go home, I was craving a can of Pepsi after none for a week in the hospital. I got home, grabbed a can, cracked it open, took a big swig, then spit it out everywhere because it tasted like shit! Took me about 3 months before it was palatable again, but to this day, it still doesn't quite taste the same.
I have not lost it, just do one cup in the morning, if I do two, I have that caffeine buzz.
