The only industry still dealing with Y2K today (and probably awhile from what I've noticed) is the tombstone business.
Many people prepaid for their stones.
So the date engraved on it is date of birth - 19XX waiting for those last 2 numbers to be engraved. Now they have to change the 19 to 20 because these people are still living and they thought they'd be dead before the turn of the millennium.
