If you're just traveling, you will need an enhanced driver's license is all. Be safe to take a copy of your CERTIFIED birth certificate (not the one the hospital gives you). You can get a certified copy from the county that you were BORN in.
If your state does not have enhanced licenses, then you will need a passport.
