I was going to go on it but I was homeless in December and didn't get to take my meds on time. I became resistant to two classes of medication so the shot is out of my future I've been having a hard time dealing with it. I was in detectable for 11 years at least 11 if not more and now and I'm older I thought yay no more having to explain to people I take pills or why this or that. I'm so happy for anyone that gets to get on the shot they are so lucky.

@A myHIVteam Member if you can't take cabenuva, can you take the other bimonthly injection of Sunlenca?

Hi Heather, You are fortunate to had 11 years being undetectable. I hope you are doing better and no longer homeless. What is really important is to remain undetectable. A pill or injection, whatever it takes. They will be coming out with different types of injectable medications. Stay positive and love yourself....
