@A myHIVteam Member, if you,ve ever had a tetanus shot, i'd relate to the pain on that level. you get 2 injections, one in each ass cheek. the one injection you barely feel, the other is a bit more uncomfortable. it will hurt for a couple of days then disapate. a couple days of pain every 2 months is better than remembering to take pills every day.

I have to say my HIV Professor doesnt think Cabanuvar would work in my particular case due to the high volume of drug resistant mutations that I have. I dont mind carrying on with my 4 x daily tablets, as I have a huge amount of forgiveness if Im late... I can be up to 5 hours late with my dosing times if need be without risking resistance.

I imagine you can walk off some of that soreness, or apply a warm pad to help the medication dissipate @A myHIVteam Member

PS: @A myHIVteam Member. The reason people had reactions to the vaccine for tetanus was they were getting the vaccination too frequently. It should only be given once every 10 years. But, Emergency Rooms would give the vaccine every time someone came in with a potentially infected wound. Not necessary. It provokes a strong immune response.
