Grindr Lawsuit
News has it that Grindr is being sued in the UK for allegedly sharing users HIV status to third parties. Makes me wonder if that would make people hide there status in there profile because of this which could be a big problem with HIV spreading. Not to mention HIPPA laws being violated .I received this information on Poz magazine website. Is the USA Grindr app next?
7I said what I did previously because I too have " skirted around" truth to prevent others from getting nosey and trying to " dip into my kool-aid " for details .
Claiming the status of disability gives folks reason to feel the need to probe for answers when they should only accept the facts based on face value .
Well after having been supported by my late husband if I did not go back to the " full time 40 week stichick " and I turned old enuf ( age 62 ) and knowing that was the age to claim " early retirement" opted for that " title " to avoid the endless myrid amount of questions about how I support myself :) .
Indeed. I really want to meet my fellow poz folks in person although I have been appreciating our community here. Given opportunity I would love to share a meal with any of my team here.
Yep! It don't matter they still going to lie even if they do.
People will certainly lie about themselves. Caveat emptor. Divulging your HIV status, outside of all HIPAA laws, is entirely up to you. Any results or responses is due to your (poor) judgment and no one else’s. The responsibility lies in your honesty, not the perception of someone else.
I think that people by x or y always go at first hide that for fear of rejection I think the best thing would always be to talk about things and always take care of the other person because it's okay that you don't tell it but at least be careful with that person take care of him.
