I Have Been Given A Job In Australia, Visa Process In Progress. But Am Worried If The Process Will Proceed After I Undergo Medicals.
Permanent Residency in Australia
Generally, people with HIV do not meet this health requirement. However, you can request a waiver, and if successful, you will be granted a permanent visa. Immigration laws, regulations, and procedures change frequently.

@A myHIVteam Member Australia isn't a third world country and I would believe they are more progressive than just dismissing you because of your status. Why not do the right thing and be honest about having HIV, or does the stigma stymie you from moving forward with your career? Think back to 1985 when HIV became a thing of assured death, do you think they would hire you back then or forward to 2024, what are your chances today? I am certain a percentage of Australia's work force has HIV and think nothing of it. It is as well managed in the UK as the US. Don't let having HIV keep you in the dark or define who you want to be. That is outdated thinking. God Luck! you're going to need it.
Is the process going to go through. Can I be allowed to work in Australia with my condition. Anyone with experience?
So, what is your question ❓
