I’m Starting On Injections (Cabotegravir And Rilpivirine) At My Next Input But Heard They Can Be Painful At Start. Anyone Any Experiences?
Hi @A myHIVteam Member been busy on all fronts and met a guy so been nearly 3 years. He's young and neg yet so understanding. Hope you're well.
@A myHIVteam Member hope you're good too. I'm just 1 a day but I know what you mean with other meds. I'm keen but will wait a while, although I've said as soon as it's like an EpiPen to do yourself, I'm in! 😄
My insurance will NOT 🚫 cover my cabenuva at the doctor's office. I'd have to pay full price if I got it there.
I was recommended to the cancer center through the hospital and insurance will cover it there at 90%. Makes no sense to me.
@A myHIVteam Member hi there, I know what you mean about more clinic visits but I just reckon, for me, it would stop my haphazard ARV routine. I only take 2 pills but all my other meds are blister packed so they can be overlooked, this is to stop that. Keep well up there.
Hello, hope you're well. I did surveys on this a couple of years ago and unsure whether I would have them or both. Its the going to the clinic so often that bothers me lol. Although the pain to not taking a tablet every day would be worth it.
My personal thoughts are that I would prefer to main on tablets that are still very effective for me and not changing what is working. But I wish everyone all the best if they choose that pathway of injections.
