Hi Steve
Triumeq contains three anti retroviral drugs. Two of them Abacavir and 3TC are very old drugs, Dolutegravir is a fairly new drug. In answer to your question, it depends on your drug resistance profile and whether this medicine is keeping your virus undetectable. Are you getting any unpleasant side effects and is the drug working?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the cannabinoids found in cannabis plants and products. Here are some key points about CBD oil:

- Non-Intoxicating: CBD does not have intoxicating effects, unlike THC.
- Legal Status: CBD is legal to buy in most states.
- Potential Benefits: Some research shows that CBD may help reduce anxiety and promote sleep.
- Quality Concerns: The FDA has found that many CBD products on the market do not contain the amount of CBD they claim on the label. Some products may also contain harmful substances due to poor processing and quality control.

Always purchase CBD products from a legal and reputable source that has independent lab testing for quality and safety.

Yes thats true. Its the.Abacavir component that you can react to.
Steve, I presume your Doctor has already checked your suitability to the Abacavir component? Can you also check with your Doctor if you take any Vitimins or Supplements or recreational drugs to make sure theres no dangerous interactions.

I have been on Triumeq for some time. I am also a very avid pot head. I have found that there is no bad or reducing effects on my weed habit. Now, that being said, you have to be very careful about Triumeq, especially if you have nausea, heartburn, or acid reflux (or in my case, GERD), as it is a big no no to take some OTC remedies such as antacids, or anything that contains Calcium, B12, or Vitamin D as these can cause a serious reaction and reduce the effectiveness of one or more of the drugs in Triumeq.

You should also not take Triumeq without having your doctor order a blood test known as the HLA-51B. Simply put, some people have a serious and severe allergic reaction to something in the Triumeq (though I don't recall what exactly off hand). The good news is though that this particular blood test checks for that very reaction. As long as this test is "non-reactive" or "negative", you do not suffer from this allergy.
