You would think with social media and 24/7 access to the world, dating would be easier but...........disclosure always held me back and everyone I met thru poz did not work out, I'll settle for someone to talk to at this point......

In the beginning, I was really freaked out about HIV. This made hookups and relationships difficult. Then I did some research and realized that HIV is a manageable disease. So to make it easy, I explain what HIV means and what ART regiment I am on and how it works. Then my partners can be informed and not be afraid of me dying or infecting them.

It also helps noting that I got HIV from being good in bed. If I had not been so adamant to make sure my partners climaxed, I might still be negative.

I've had two relationships from poz both were great I just outgrew them. I've changed over the years and if someone doesn't grow, they whither.

Here in Florida the site "meet up " has so many different activities from 🚶‍♀️ walking downtown to the beach or in nature. I am going to meet for a golf driving range on Tuesday evening. Next week I am meeting a pride group for drinks and dinner. I will let you know how it goes 😌.

See....I have relationships and no sex life. Well, there's no accountability in hook-up culture. It's easy to scratch an itch(by any means necessary.) Relationships require a little more honesty , and a willingness for the other person to learn about HIV, there personal risk and whether or not they want to be included in the stigma. It's a total package. That's a lot of information to process. IDK, U=U is a tough sell if they've never seen you take a pill there life. I feel we roll that out so soon to get to the goodies, but people have to know and trust you before they get to that place. Sometimes you have to slow bake your prospect. There's more going on with you than your HIV. Let them fall in love the old fashioned way.
