CD4 Count
My CD4 Count is 0.159. I am not sure, if I am still undetectable. Does anybody know, if I am or not?
CD4 doesn't measure virtual load it is an indication of your immune system health, this is not medical advice just my thoughts Pastor David
It is your HIV level do you need to be more concerned about because that determines whether you're undetectable or not your cd-4 is how healthy your immune system is the higher the CD4 count the healthier you are my CD4 account went to 800 plus I'm on a medication that keeps me stable and not also depends on how stressed you are if you're very stressed it takes longer for your HIV count to stay low and your CD4 count to rise so keep that in mind keep your stresses low eat healthy exercise as much as you can and be thankful that we're still here and the older generation has gone through a lot more than the younger generation but we're all in this together we will all defeat this if we work together research together that's the only way to combat it and then of course when there is a cure we need to sign petitions to let them put that on the market as soon as possible for some reason they're a little bit slow and doing that that's too I'll stay healthy
Cd4 count is how healthy your immune system is.
Undetectable/detectable is how much virus 🦠 you have. 2 totally different numbers and test.
You can have a CD4 of 1 and be undetectable or you can have a CD4 of 1,500 and BE detectable.
You'll need to ask your doctor ⚕️👨⚕️👩⚕️🩺 about your viral load and if it is undetectable. If you have a patient portal in Canada, it should be on that as well.
My CD4 count is over 500 and been undetectable for over 10 years.
I am confused as CD4 numbers are integers. Is this some kind of percentage? And to answer your question, detectability depends on viral load not on CD4 numbers, which are a measure of the status of your immune system. However, I am no doctor and you should make sure you discuss this with your primary or your ID doc.. We in have people our forum that have had counts as low as 1 and, yes, as the viral load is reduced, your immune system begins to recover. Everyone's CD4 count is different and it seems to fluctuate even in the same day..
