Be Up In Front
Lately I've been telling people about my diagnosis. At this point of game, I really don't care if they don't like me or not. If you understand about this baggage I have and still want to hang out with me, then we cool. But if you're not then just go away and don't waste my time just like my ex-boyfriend.
Do you usually be up front with someone about your diagnosis?
We still live in a world of ignorance and none educated people that we have in our circle when it come to this topic. I still find it hard to tell certain people but i have gotten a lot better at it. I disclose my status when i feel comfortable enough to do so.
Sometimes im up front kinda hard to tell who Fake and who is Real
I'm rather confidential about it. Our privacy to our status is protected by United States Law. Having said that, I choose very carefully with whom I entrust with my Life information. My circle of trust and friends is very small. This has helped me greatly throughout the years and I have been positive with AIDS for 24 years now.. Much love. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🧡🌈💚💙😊.. in greater circles like POZ magazine interviews or covers.. I do share my journey with the intention of bringing awareness to the HIV and AIDS epidemic. but as far as strangers or people that are not within my circle on a daily basis , I do not share that information.
I myself don't tell everyone because everyone doesn't need to know my business. But if I do feel comfortable enough to share it with someone and they can't accept it, I'm moving on and not wasting my time.
I am upfront if it's someone that matters. I also am an advocate for HIV prevention and try to reduce miss information about HIV+ and trasmission by undetectable people
