So What Exactly Does A Team Do On This Site?

Im asking because I have been a member for over a week now, but it only seems to be a head count.... Can somebody help me to understand what this site is about aside from everyone's hiv status.

The larger your team = the more contact you have with others. By increasing your exposure you have the opportunity to connect with more people with your interests. An in depth profile/ story is helpful too.

a team can be of many things. maybe you share a similar life story. maybe you live in the same general area and can relate to local things, maybe you take the same kind of medications and can compare side effects. maybe you are in the same stage of hiv and need that support. a team is what you make it for what ever reason. kind of like friends who are "family." each friend may have something different in common, but they are still a family. a team is basicly the same way.

John Brown, Oh im sure with the right one it will. Once you realize that your husband loved you enough that he would not sanction lonliness and depression for you, he would want you to live a happy life, he can provide the memories but someone else can provide the comfort. Love is an ongoing entity, it never dies it just keeps recreating and manifesting itself, love wants to live in and through you. There is a strong reason why people are drawn to you and it is beyond sex, even though the wolves will put on sheeps clothing they must still mingle among the real sheep to get close to you. Your still standing my friend :-)

That's admirable, I studied Human Services and also have an interest in helping people though I have never worked professionally in that arena. I also seek friendship with people I can identify with. Sometimes I listen to people's problems (im the go to guy in my circle) and I get lost in the shuffle cause I really have no one I can talk to. Thanks for responding and for the insight....as for that other part, I don't get much of that :-)
