Does anyone know if there is a statute of limitations for pressing charges on a person who exposed someone knowingly?

I live in Oklahoma there is no law here. But in Texas you can press attempted murder or murder if you can prove the knew and did not tell you.

you have to prove it was willingly known. some places the person infecting may only get probation (with a time limit), in other areas it could premeditated murder (no time limit). best way to prove it is both of you need an hiv dna test. if the dna match you have proof but even if the dna was a match, you still need to prove it was willingly known.

It varies from State to State. 5 years in California. But remember you have to be able to prove intent.
