@A myHIVteam Member, it does help. HIV depletes your vitamins and minerals so taking them can make your body balance back out.

@A myHIVteam Member my ID office hands out bottles of vitamins if we ask for them. The ones we get are a multivitamin with a multimineral. the brand name changes time to time, but they pretty much are the same. multivitamin with multimineral.
I see that some people are concerned about the effects that HIV might have on our bodies. We can't blame everything on the virus or meds. If you are not going to eat right, sleep right, no exercise and do things like smoke, drink too much alcohol or Soft drinks you might have some health issues. We are all adults here and are responsible for taking care of ourselves. I know plenty of people who are not HIV positive and are not as healthy as me. I have changed my way of eating before my diagnosis. I take vitamins and supplements. I try to exercise as much as I can. Please take care of yourselves.
