Marie Dorsey, Pharm.D., BCPS, AAHIVP

Marie Dorsey is currently a clinical pharmacist at Bridgewell Medical, specializing in medication therapy management and holds a certification as an HIV pharmacist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine. With a strong focus on HIV care, Marie has served on the Board of Directors for the HIV Alliance. Additionally, she is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist.

Marie brings over 15 years of experience as a hospital inpatient pharmacist at PeaceHealth, where she gained valuable expertise in various areas of pharmacy practice. Prior to joining Bridgewell Medical, she dedicated 6 years as an HIV clinical pharmacist with the HIV Alliance, further deepening her understanding of specialized HIV care.

At the HIV Alliance, Marie was instrumental in the development of the pharmacist-medication adherence program and was the principal investigator on the Rural Tele-Health Pilot Project through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and Oregon Office for Rural Health. She recently served as an HIV subject matter expert for the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and helped edit the PrEP and PEP protocols for pharmacist prescribing. Marie was presented with the Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year award in 2013 for her work at the HIV Alliance.

Marie earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in microbiology and a minor in chemistry at Oregon State University. She then earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Oregon State University/Oregon Health Science University, graduating in 2007. Marie enjoys hiking with her spouse, daughter, and dog. She also plays competitive tennis, skis, swims, and loves to travel.
